The World Through a Preschooler’s Eyes – The Youngest Art Brut Artists
Kindergarten No. 2 in Lublin,
‘Squirrels’ group
A collection of children’s artworks on freely chosen themes: your dreams, your family, your holidays. All possible artistic techniques were used: crayons, felt-tip pens, paints.
Children – a true “collection of fantasies” – express themselves through their age, lack of experience and technical skills, taking on the most primal form of artistic creation. The freedom of imagination and the ease of stepping into any role during play is something all adults might envy them.
We invite you to an exhibition created by preschoolers, whose unstoppable need for self-expression knows no bounds. The works were produced during art workshops at the Art Brut Gallery, with Adam Saran taking part both as a mentor and as a participant.
Closing event of the exhibition: 1 June, on International Children’s Day.
