Neural Fantasies
A group exhibition of works by students of Fryderyk Chopin Primary School
No. 16 in Lublin
On the occasion of this year’s Night of Culture, which coincides with Children’s Day, we invite you to a remarkable group exhibition of works by students of Fryderyk Chopin Primary School No. 16 in Lublin, entitled Neural Fantasies. Explore the exhibition at the Art Brut Gallery in the Centre for Culture in Lublin.
How do children perceive neurons? Will their vision resemble microscopic images? Discover for yourself the fantastic neural networks painted by the youngest artists. The exhibition, resulting from the collaboration of students from Class 1D and Class 3D, takes us on a fascinating journey into the world of neurons and interconnected networks, seen through the eyes of children.
First-year students created colourful interpretations of individual neurons, while third-year students, inspired by their younger peers, produced more developed representations of neural networks. The exhibition delights with its aesthetics and prompts reflection on the complexity of the brain and the process of learning. Welcome to a world where childlike creativity intertwines with scientific exploration.
Ready for the Night of Culture? For those craving an aesthetic experience, we have even more in store…
Simultaneously, visitors can view a retrospective exhibition of Art Brut billboards that have been displayed across the city of Lublin since 2015.
