Born in 1974 in the village of Zielony Kąt to a large family. He graduated from a special school and, as recalled by his father, never seemed particularly good at drawing. In 2012, he begun working on his unique, meticulous drawings at his current Therapeutic and Nursing Home.

He draws with coloured pencils, on simple A4 sheets of papers. But despite this apparent simplicity, there is undeniable passion and consistency in his efforts. Oftentimes he will create several works in a single day, despite the greatly limited resources available at his occupational therapy facility. Piotr is a keen observer, his impressions of the surrounding world are conveyed in great detail onto the pages of his drawing pad. His works have a distinctly childlike quality to them, as observed by one of the reviewers: Piotr’s drawings are similar to those of a talented 4-5-year-old. The themes he chooses are equally simple: a helicopter, a car, a tractor, various animals. What sets his works apart is his great attention to detail and prolific use of colour. For instance, a car in one of his drawings takes up the whole length of the page, edge to edge. The vehicle is well-proportioned, fantastically colourful, with doors adorned with horizontal and vertical, violet and red stripes; the fender is chequered brown. The wheels are brown, the roof blue with an aerial on the top... the steering wheel and various buttons are visible through the side window – Piotr leaves out not a single detail.
